Fail your way to success. It’s a popular misconception that failing is all bad. In fact, failing can benefit us immensely if we simply remain open-minded toward its lessons, and then continue trying. Case in point: After 10,000 attempts without success, Thomas Edison finally invented the light bulb. When asked about his numerous “failures”, he replied, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”.
Attitude and tenacity will keep you moving forward, even in the face of adversity. Anyone can fail and give up on their dream, a goal, or a big project. That’s bad failure. Mediocrity is easy and it’s what most people settle for, since failing can be discouraging. But failing does not have to mean the desired outcome is not attainable. There is only one way to find out – stick with it! Thankfully, Mr. Edison didn’t give up. Go after your dreams with passion and determination, because nobody else will do it for you.
